Our three Sectional qualifiers, Norah Rorem, Will Denton and Jackson Smith, all finished in the top 40 of their respective Class 2A Girls' and Boys' races. Norah, an eighth-grader, finished 32nd in a time of 12:49.99 out of 220 Class 2A Girls finishers. The Boys' race followed with Will & Jackson, both eighth-grader, crossing the finish line almost neck and neck. Will finished 37th with a time of 11:49.25 and Jackson finished in 39th with a time of 11:49.72. The Class 2A Boys race had 222 finishers. This marked the conclusion of another very successful season for our third year program. A great number of personal best records were set this year by our seventeen athletes (ten girls and seven boys). Good luck to our 8th graders (Norah, Kaylee, Aidan, Will, Jackson & Erik) in their High School running endeavors. With the returning 8 Girls and 3 Boys we are eagerly looking forward to next year as we know that THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
